Armed with all the words we’ve learnt, let’s make things a bit more interesting. Let us now see how the ‘do chashmii he’ works with letters of the 'daal' group.

From the 'daal' group, the ‘do chashmii he’ joins with the letters ‘daal’ and ‘Daal’ to create the  aspirated sounds ‘dh’ (ध) and ‘Dh’ (ढ) respectively. Here’s how:

Let’s see how these new aspirated letters work with ‘alif’. For this, let’s create a word - “dhaan” (धान):

Here, we see that the ‘do chashmii he’ in the letter ‘dh’ acts like a connector and changes shape to connect with the ‘alif’.

Let’s look at another example. This time, the word - “Dhaabaa” (ढाबा):

7.4.3: With other consonants

Let’s start by creating the word - “dhap” (धप):
